Özcan Saraç is an electronic artist merging the boundaries between music, art and philosophy. Treating sound itself as a material to be explored, deconstructed, and re-formed into complex systems that provoke existential reflection, Saraç envisions his work as an evolving organism, a self-generating entity that reflects the fluidity of consciousness. His creative process treats narrative as something alive, capable of transformation, decay, and rebirth. Through this living continuum, Saraç composes music not as a fixed form, but as a constantly mutating field of awareness.
Since the release of his debut album Copnvvvs in 2022, Saraç's avant-garde language blends generative, abstract and psychoacoustic forms with emotional depth. Across eight studio albums, his discography has formed immersive sonic worlds that blur and ultimately redefine the boundaries between music, senses and thought. Saraç's latest release, OS ZA CR AA NC, pushes this vision even further, reimagining sound not just as an aesthetic experience but as a living system of cognition and perception. Through intricate sonic architectures, Saraç transforms the act of listening into an existential inquiry, inviting the audience to confront the complex relationship between being and time.
Saraç has released albums under his own name through the record labels EVEL (Spain), SUPERPANG (Italy), Tokinogake (Japan), and Kaer’Uiks (Germany). His installations have been exhibited in London, Paris, New York, Istanbul, Zurich, Geneva, Basel, and Milan, and he has performed at institutions and organizations around the world.
